Founders message

Dear friends,

Thank you so much for taking out the time to know about Jagwonder and the mission behind it.

Our dream with Jagwonder is simple — to make this world a healthier place. And at the heart of this dream is one belief: that the people who grow our food, the people who work with us, and the people who use our products — all matter deeply. We exist because of each other. That’s why, for us, it’s not just about selling products, but about creating something meaningful for everyone involved.

Jagwonder is a Made in India brand, but it’s meant for the world. And I want to take a moment to share how I think we, as an Indian brand, can actually help people around the world live healthier lives — and at the same time, try to bring farmer suicides in India down to zero.

India has so much to offer when it comes to health. One of the most important concepts I’ve learned through my studies is that health is all about balance — especially the balance of the three doshas: Vaat, Pitta, and Kaph. These are part of our ancient Ayurvedic wisdom.

In a hot country like India, Pitta (heat) tends to be more common. In colder countries like Russia, Canada, or parts of Europe, the tendency of Kaph (cold, congestion) is higher. And in dry, windy places, Vaat (dryness, instability) is more dominant.

Now the question is — how do we bring these into balance? I’ve found that cold-pressed oils help balance Vaat, cow ghee balances Pitta, and jaggery helps manage Kaph. It might sound simple, but I’ve experienced it personally and studied it through texts like Charak Samhita and Bhavprakash Nighantu. With the right food, the right spices, and just a bit of regular yoga — even just 25 minutes a week — anyone can take charge of their health. Your kitchen really can become your medicine cabinet.

And the good news is, India is already a superpower when it comes to all of this. We’re the spice capital of the world. We produce 70% of the world’s jaggery. Ghee is still unknown in many parts of the world, and we have the opportunity to introduce it to them. Plus, we’ve given yoga to the world — and it’s time we start believing in our own strength.

We’ve inherited a rich legacy from our ancestors. Now it’s our turn to carry it forward and make it matter. But while we celebrate all this, we should also never forget the people who grow our food — our farmers. They deserve respect, not just sympathy.

At Jagwonder, we do our bit to honor them. We pay ₹5000 per ton to sugarcane farmers when the government FRP is just ₹3000. Almost all our employees are women, and we pay them double the standard wages in the market. And for our customers, we’ve made three promises.

First, a 30-day money-back guarantee — if you don’t like the product, you can return it, even if you’ve consumed up to 10%. Second, a ₹1 lakh reward if any of our products are found to be adulterated (tested by a NABL-accredited lab). And third, we offer open plant visits to our loyal customers — because we believe you deserve to see where your food is coming from.

This is not just about business. It’s about doing the right thing for everyone — farmers, women, families, and future generations. If this message means something to you, I’d be really grateful if you could share it with your friends and family — maybe on WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram.

Let’s be proud of what India stands for. And let’s work together to bring health, dignity, and hope to as many lives as we can.

Wishing you a healthy and peaceful life,
Bandu Pralhad Pawar
